Activities Director
Plans and provides small/large group activities and one-on-one activities designed to meet the needs and interests of each resident/patient which includes social activities, indoor/outdoor activities, activities away from the facility, religious programs, creative activities, educational and exercise activities. Interviews the residents/patients, completes section of the Minimum Data Set and develops activity care plans based on information obtained. Keeps up the daily & quarterly charting and assists the Social Services Director as needed.

State of Alabama qualified Activities Coordinator *Occupational, Art, Music, Dance, or Recreational Therapist preferred
Prior experience in a social or recreational program within the past 5 years preferred.
Efficient computer skills required
Excellent written, analytical, and oral communication skills required
Prior management experience preferred
Strong Leadership & Team Work Skills required
Must be flexible with work hours, including weekend shifts
